Kelly O’Donnell M.D.
Our highly trained staff is led by Kelly O’Donnell, M.D., a board certified vein specialist with an extensive medical background, whose focus is on providing pain-free solutions and ensuring the comfort of her patients.
Dr. O’Donnell earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completing her internship in general surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and her residency in anesthesiology and critical care at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She spent a decade practicing cardiovascular and critical care anesthesia in the Washington, DC area, before turning her focus to vein care.
After being certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), Dr. O’Donnell earned board certification in venous disease from the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. She is an active member of the American College of Phlebology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Eden Flynn – Clinical Director
Eden Flynn is a Registered Nurse who graduated from Anne Arundel Community College and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at University of MD. Eden is our Clinical Director, as well as an aesthetic injector, laser specialist, and vein nurse. She manages and guides our team towards reaching our organization’s goals and ensures that patients receive the best care possible from the time that they step foot in our door, to the time they checkout with our receptionist. Eden believes that working as a team is key to operational success and is constantly educating and supporting all of our staff members. She is a natural advocate and is extremely proud to be a part of a woman owned business as successful as O’Donnell Vein & Laser. In her free time, Eden enjoys biking, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend, Nick, and bulldog, Kiwi.
Alexandra “Ali” Weiss – Family Nurse Practitioner
Alexandra “Ali” Weiss is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of cosmetic experience in various settings including plastic surgery, dermatology, and medical aesthetics. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America, and began working in primary care and dermatology before transitioning solely into aesthetics. Her training has included work with lasers, dermal fillers, neurotoxins, fat reduction, and medical grade skin care. Ali’s top priority is patient experience and patient safety. She craves education and attends annual meetings and conferences to ensure that she is using the most up to date techniques and treatments. She has attended multiple cadaver dissection courses, an experience that drastically improved her patient outcomes and increased her patient safety. Ali lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband, two children, and Great Dane named Clooney. Outside of spending time with her family and work, Ali loves eating out at new restaurants, riding her Peloton, and spending time in Islamorada.
Laura Ruppel – Licensed Aesthetician
Laura Ruppel is a licensed aesthetician and certified in microblading, practicing in Annapolis for the past 7 years. She graduated top her class from Chesapeake School of Aesthetics after an undergrad in art and design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Towson University. Years of battling chronic acne left her feeling frustrated and embarrassed. It is what drives her mission to help others achieve their skin goals. Her passion and knowledge for skin is unparalleled and ensures complete patient care. Microblading and brow design is a way for her to bring her art background back into the treatment room. With a focus on continuing education and ever changing technology, she strives to bring you the best in the treatment room and in homecare with medical grade product lines. She resides in Annapolis with her French bulldog, Roxy and in her free time enjoys painting, hiking, cooking, traveling, and all things fashion, design, and pop culture.
