Our highly trained staff is led by Kelly O’Donnell, M.D., a board certified vein specialist with an extensive medical background, whose focus is on providing pain-free solutions and ensuring the comfort of her patients.
Dr. O’Donnell earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completing her internship in general surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and her residency in anesthesiology and critical care at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She spent a decade practicing card no-padiovascular and critical care anesthesia in the Washington, DC area, before turning her focus to vein care. After being certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), Dr. O’Donnell earned board certification in venous disease from the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. She is an active member of the American College of Phlebology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Suzanne Zimmermann is a highly experienced healthcare professional specializing in vascular medicine and vein disease. After more than two decades of experience in interventional cardiology and five years in medical aesthetics, Suzanne has dedicated nearly ten years to the comprehensive treatment of vein disease.
Suzanne's primary focus is on alleviating leg discomfort caused by venous disorders, and she brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients to help them achieve optimal results. Throughout her career, she has served as a regional preceptor, training and mentoring new healthcare providers in the treatment of venous vascular disorders. Her passion extends to patient education, empowering her patients to improve and maintain their functional well-being. Suzanne's extensive background has earned her recognition as an authority in diagnosing and treating vein disease.
Suzanne's educational journey includes a summa cum laude dual major Masters degree as an Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner from the University of Maryland. Her career began in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Open Heart intensive care unit after earning her BSN degree. She then transitioned to the field of medical aesthetics, initially as a registered nurse and later as a nurse practitioner. For the past nine years, Suzanne has exclusively focused on treating vein disease and is thrilled to continue her journey with O'Donnell Vein and Laser.
Beyond her professional life, Suzanne enjoys the outdoors, whether it's hiking, kayaking or boating and relishes spending quality time on the water with family and friends. She's committed to a healthy lifestyle and maintaining her fitness, believing in leading by example. She shares her encouraging perspective with her patients as their dedicated supporter and motivator, ensuring they achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Dr. Robert Franklin Corder, MD, is an accomplished physician and academic in the field of Emergency Medicine. With extensive experience and expertise, he has made significant contributions to the development and improvement of emergency medical care in various countries.
Dr. Corder received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship and residency. Later, he developed a Master's level degree program in International Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, utilizing his valuable insights into the practice of emergency medicine in diverse settings.
Throughout his career, Dr. Corder has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellow physicians. He has delivered numerous lectures and presentations at conferences and educational institutions, both locally and internationally. Some of his notable international lectures include "Emergency Medicine Development in Botswana," "Acute Coronary Syndromes," presented at the Emergency Medicine in the Developing World Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, and "Trauma and Renal Ultrasound" at the University of Limpopo and University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Dr. Corder's dedication to improving emergency medical care extends beyond his academic pursuits. He has been actively involved in organizations such as World Access/Mondial Assistance/Allianz Insurance, where he participated in medical evaluations and seminars, sharing his expertise on a global scale. He has also served as a founding board member of the African Federation of Emergency Medicine and the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field on an international level. Dr. Corder was also awarded an honorary Fellowship in the Colleges of Emergency Medicine of South Africa for his commitment to improving emergency care in southern Africa.
In addition to his academic and organizational involvement, Dr. Corder has held various leadership positions within the medical community. He served as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Emergency Cardiology and Critical Care conference in Al Ain, UAE, and as the Chairman of the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine International Committee. His contributions to emergency medicine in the United Arab Emirates include being appointed as the ACEP Lead Ambassador to the country and participating in the development of a world-class emergency medicine system in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Corder's expertise is widely recognized, and he has been sought after as a reviewer for prestigious medical journals such as the International Journal of Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Medicine Journal. He is a Diplomat of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Corder has made significant contributions to the field of Emergency Medicine through his clinical work, research, teaching, and leadership. His commitment to improving emergency medical care, both locally and globally, has earned him respect and admiration from his colleagues and the medical community at large.
Brittany Krautheim is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of nursing experience. She graduated with her RN in 2004 from Beebe School of Nursing practicing in labor and delivery while earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University in 2009. She later earned her second Master’s degree and Nurse Practitioner certification from Georgetown University in 2013.
She has previously practiced in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Surgical Breast Oncology before transitioning into aesthetics. Her training has included work with dermal fillers, neurotoxins, medical grade skin care and much more! In her spare time, Brittany enjoys all that the Eastern Shore has to offer including boating, drive-on surf fishing, and stand up paddle boarding with her son, Gage.
