BBL™ Photofacials

Commonly used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands, photofacials filter broadband light to target specific tissues without affecting surrounding skin. The Forever Young BBL™ can improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of age spots or freckles and reduce redness associated with small veins and rosacea. Studies have shown that regular photofacials can reduce sun damage over time. A recent study showed that regular treatments of broad spectrum light delivered 2 to 4 times per year appeared to delay the emergence of the visible signs of skin aging; including age spots, wrinkles and laxity.

In this study, 15 patients ranging in age from 38 to 69 years received at least one annual BBL treatment for a period of 5 to 11 years. Professional evaluators were then asked to estimate the patients’ ages, using both pre- and post-treatment photos. A word on our laser: We work exclusively with the Sciton laser because it is 12 times more effective than a CO2 laser. CO2 lasers tend to transfer much more heat to the skin, resulting in more redness and recovery time.

Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing

Most commonly used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands, fractional laser skin resurfacing repairs wrinkles, discoloration and scarring caused by sun damage or mild to severe acne. Additional results include improved skin tone and texture, pore size and tautness. Treatments generally last 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the targeted area and level of correction needed.

Excel V+

This laser targets color in blood vessels and pigments in spots on the skin. This color causes spots and blood vessels to look different from the rest of the skin and stand out, but the Excel V+ Laser has green laser energy that is absorbed by the color difference. In unwanted blood vessels, this laser light converts to heat energy and collapses the vein, sealing it shut. The body naturally diverts blood flow to other healthier vessels and absorbs and eliminates the problem vessels. On unwanted spots and lesions, the laser energy is absorbed by the cells. These darken and then flake off to reveal an even, healthy skin tone beneath. The laser uses dual-wavelength light energies to target different issues on the skin.

Laser Hair Removal
