Recovery after your customized LaseMD Ultra treatment is minimal, especially if you follow the recommended aftercare.

You can expect to go about your day after your appointment.
You will want to avoid exercise for about a week after your appointment, as well as alcohol consumption, saunas, or anything else that might increase blood flow or body temperature, causing increased redness.
If you experience a burning sensation at the treatment site in the hours after your appointment, an ice pack that is dry and sterile will provide relief.
Keep the treatment area moisturized, and after the first day, gently clean and pat the area dry. Do not scrub. Healing should occur naturally in 5-7 days.
Avoid cosmetics that contain alcohol for one week and do not use Retinol or AHA products without discussing it with Dr. O’Donnell and her specialists first.
For at least 20 days, use UV A/B sunblock with a minimum of SPF 30 daily on treatment areas. Minimize sun exposure while you heal.
